  Extremely unreliable. These guys (David and Daniel, I believe) came out to look at our project -- replacement of some porch columns. They gave us an estimate and a time and day they would be here to do the work. I bought the materials and took the day off from my job to be here.

  First they were an hour late, and when I called they had forgotten the time we had arranged ("We told you 8:00???" ) but assured me that they were just running a bit behind and they were on their way.

  After THREE hours passed, I contacted them again ... and Dave literally had no memory of having arranged this job. When I called earlier, they had thought I was a different client, and had gone to HIS house instead! They were "confused" and didn't know who I was.

  I admit, these "five star" handymen never got a chance to do any work for me because I wanted nothing more to do with them after that. For your job, you might prefer someone with a working memory ... or at least the sense to write something down!
