I am so pleased with the quality and exactness of this reproduction. I chose one of the Van Gogh self portraits that I had seen in person in Amsterdam. I was a bit worried and hoping that the complicated brush strokes could be captured Without a doubt the artist was amazing and totally nailed it!!!! I am so pleased with this product. I especially was happy that I was sent photos of the preliminary final and was allowed to tweak one very small detail in the painting to my satisfaction. I will no doubt be using 1st Art Gallery again in the future. They are truly the gold-standard I was looking for.

My daughter is a student of classical ballet and is very fond of Degas paintings. I was thrilled to surprised her with this one depicting the Paris Opera Ballet. It is stunning in her room. The painting arrived yesterday. We have just returned from being away for ten days so the timing was perfect. The painting is lovely and we had the stretcher boards ready and waiting. Thank you again for your great work. Now I have two Renoirs in my Dining room. The room is very large (18x20) and can display a 3'x4' and a 2'x3' painting nicely.

What is the difference between a framed print, and a new reproduction painting? If one overlooks the distortion caused by my camera's flash, and the slight tilt to one of the paintings, you can easily see the distinction. The painting on the right is a (not at all inexpensive) print of the original painting. It is exactly what the artist made, but the print looks dark and muddy. The version on the right is a new painting by 1st Art Gallery, and much brighter and more detailed, just like what you would see in a museum. Sure, it's not a fingerprint-like duplicate, but why should it be? Embrace that you have an original, and there's nothing in the world like it!

Excellent work on a difficult job. Painting was done from a picture and involved lots of people in a festival scene. Painting was 36x48 and very reasonably priced given the detail involved. Painting was completed and received within one month of the order.

When I found 1st Art Gallery I thought it was amazing that I could have an actual painted reproduction of one of my favorite artists. Highly recommend First Art Gallery! We requested some special cropping on this one. The original painting was a rectangular landscape style, but we needed it to be square in order to fit a frame we already had and to match a similar time-period painting. In the remarks section of the order form we noted the dimensions we needed and told them what they could crop out. In addition, I cropped their website photo to make it square, attached it to an email and sent it to them along with our order number and instructions. They did a perfect job of cropping it into a square painting. If you decide to give them a try you won't be disappointed. You can preview the painting before they ship it. Just add a note in the comments section during the checkout process requesting that they send you a photo of the completed painting before they ship it. We've done that with each of the 10 paintings we ordered. They sent us a photo of the finished painting to approve before they shipped it. After I approved it, the painting arrived about a week or so later. Doesn't get any better than that! I’ve tried ordering paintings from artists selling on two major online auction sites, one in the U.S. and one in China. I wound up having to donate them – total junk… If you want an oil painting, use 1st Art Gallery, you won’t be disappointed.

Hello 1st Art, This is the 2nd painting we have purchased. Both were custom works, The first was of our dog, a collie,. We sent a photo and the result was simply stunning. Dog and people portraits are difficult. The 1st-Art artist captured our Katie's likeness precisely and beautifully. The second piece was a custom reproduction of 19th century Paris street scene. Once again, 1st Art outdid themselves. This piece was true to the original and look as if it was just .delivered by the artist in 1880. Excellent job 1st-Art.

It is not always easy to get the tone and feeling of a picture, but they did it.From when I first placed the order communication was excellent, I was emailed a preview of the painting to review and make any comments before confirming my acceptance.The quality of the frame is excellent, the packaging also. I was dubious about commissioning a painting but it was so worthwhile. I got a beautiful copy of an original that is delightful to look at.I was kept informed how the painting was progressing and was sent photos of it when it was finished. They asked for my comments and were willing to correct anything that I was not happy with (which was only a minor detail).The painting arrived in good time once it was finished and was extremely well packed. If you are hesitating, I advise you to go ahead. Their standards are very high and you will not be disappointed.

I ordered two pieces, and needed nonstandard, small sizes to fit frames I already had. I offered to pay a higher amount than the offered price to obtain a very high degree of fidelity. They did NOT take the additional money.They sent me very accurate scanned views so that I knew exactly what I was purchasing, before I exchanged any money. The level of fidelity was surprising and very detailed. They were completed in the time promised. The colors were also accurate.I couldn't be happier with the paintings. What else can I say beyond a willingness to buy more from them?
