1 reviews for Portuguese Fisherman Restaurant
Me and my wife are addicted to any no nonsense food. Big Eaters. Sangria's a Plus. Basically, Im old school with a love for Homemade pasta, veal and pork meatballs, tripe and beans, bacalhau (like my grandma used to), fish stews, sardines, and everything else that most people hear the description and go eww. The FISHERMAN is my place to indulge. They dont do PASTA OR MEATBALLS, but they do make PEASANT FOOD. The dishes are something that brings me back to my childhood. Just about every saturday im there for the tripe and beans, or some type of stew, and my wife absolutely adores the 4 inch high piece of bacalhau they give her topped with peppers and onions for only $15 bucks. Be forewarned, the nononesense stuff im talking about are the Bar specials which they serve in the restaurant during lunch hours only. Theres also been times i get there and there isnt any left. Great Meal, Sangria, and Staff tho.
