i had a terible experience at the place today!!the service of the austrians(not jews)were good and helpful.the israelis/jews prefered to serve the israelis who came in after me.it was like i did not exist.i was polite..they just could not care.the food was below standard also.
i am a jew and have dual citizenship with israel and wanted to support a jewish restaurant in vienna..i am so very sorry i bothered.i was quite shocked at the care.
advice-go to non kosher places at least they care!!!

A little family-run treasure. Kosher restaurant with a good selection of vegetarian mezze/salads, kebabs (lamb, chicken, beef, liver, etc.) and Chinese food.

My wife had the falafel plate with hummus. Delicious. The salads were fresh and atypical (parsley-stuffed chilli pepper, for example).

I had a lamb/chicken combo kebab plate. Everything was fresh and well-prepared.

I didn't try the Chinese food, but what I saw come out of the kitchen looked very good. Will definitely return.

One of a very few kosher restaurants in Vienna, Bahur Tov offers a number of excellent Israeli meze: falafel, humus, hazilim, home made pickles etc. as well as a variety of kebabs - including rather exotic ones like heart or testicles.

bahur tov which means good boy is one of the best falafel spots in town nobody knows about. the family owned and run restaurant is one of the meeting points for the jewish community in the second disctrict and their wide range of jewish traditional food also includes falafel sandwiches that are at least as good as the ones you get at maschu! you can choose from a lot of delicious vegetable sauces and salads (ask for vegan in case...) and pay only 3 euros. highly recommended!
