I write this as a thank you to the entire staff at Exploring Flooring. Staff was extremely helpful, helping us sort through the many different types of carpet types and colors. They truely made the task, as difficult as it was, easier to go through. The installation crew was fantastic, they worked hard and efficiently doing (4) bedrooms, (1) family rm, (1) office, steps and a hall - in a day and a half. The old carpet was pickup when they were finished. I highly recommend Exploring Flooring.

We took some samples home right as the lockdown began in March. Tom stayed in touch, even though the store was closed. We ordered as soon as we could and the installation was sooner than promised. Tom was great at keeping us in the loop throughout the whole process. The installation was clean and precise. Honestly, we could not have been more satisfied with the results! Many thanks!!

Tom was very helpful and easy to work with. The timing of our rug and installation was put on hold due to the pandemic but as soon as we called Tom, he was quick to get everything moving. The installation went as planned and the installers were efficient, helpful and courteous. I was very pleased with Toms help with choosing, ordering and delivery of the carpet and the crew that installed it.

Excellent show room with plenty of choices, styles, in carpet, various wood, vinyl planking. Friendly & expert sales force. Efficient work crew, kept promises on delivery & installation. We received pricing from Lumber Liquidators, Desitter & are very pleased with giving the order to Exploring Flooring.

We were not at home when are carpet was installed 4 rooms, hallway and stairs, so we did not observe the work in progress. The result was excellent. The price was very competitive. We are pleased.

I live in Michigan and have shopped all our store possibilities for back splash tile. Also looked online for different styles and could only find a few that I really liked, but was not willing to pay the price. I'm originally from Chicago's western suburbs and my kids still live there. Since I'd been looking for over a year and not being successful, I decided to come back home and shop the suburbs. Came into Illinois for the weekend and after shopping the larger tile stores, I was still not finding what I wanted. My husband and I were having breakfast at a restaurant with our kids and my son said "There is a small carpet/tile store just down the road and if you didn't know it was there, you'd drive right by it. Why don't you stop in there on our way home and see what they have" .... so we did! And guess what?? I found 3 different tiles that I liked. REALLY...3 of them! What a wonderful dilemma to be in. I took pictures of all 3 styles, went back to my son's house to think over my choice. After making a decision, went back to your store to place our order. When the tile came in, my son picked it up at the store and brought it to Michigan on their next visit. Love your store... love your choices.... love your staff.

We are thrilled with our experience with Exploring Flooring. Rob and Tom helped us make choices/decisions for our floors. Tom's estimate and measurements were easy. Joe and his installation team were amazing! I cannot say enough good things about them. Polite, friendly, professional and problem solvers - Joe did an incredible job. He also followed up with a small issue we encountered - both Rob and Joe immediately responded and addressed and corrected the issue. My husband was out of the country and I was beyond thankful for both of them to work together to make the adjustment. I've already recommend your team to several friends in our neighborhood and will definitely do so again. Thank you!!

When the carpet I chose was not even in production yet, the salesperson (Rob) found a comperable "remnant" and made me a great deal (operative words NO DELAY) an high quality substitute of same color. Installed the following week. I love it when something in a big project actually goes right.

Excellent experience w/Tom in the showroom - really helpful w/ our needs (3 little kids, budget, etc). Took a lot of time to answer our questions. Very professional, clean, FAST installation. 100% would recommend + will be back!

Process from start to finish was easy! No problems at all. Whatever was said was going to be done was done even ETAs were correct everytime. Great company. Will be using again next year for our hardwood floors and again after that for basement.

I love all the updates to my home. Exploring Flooring tiled my bathroom , floor , shower , backsplash in my kitchen and my entire first floor installed my hardwood flooring. Everything looks so good and exactly how I wanted it. All the different staff was knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

I found my visit to your business was a pleasant experience. All my questions were answered and chosing my new carpet was easier than I expected. The installers were great. They arrived as scheduled and in a little over 2 hours the old carpet was out and the new was down. I had a friend who got new carpet a couple of weeks before me and it took her installers 2 days. I most certainly recommend your team for a great experience. My carpet looks great. Thanks so much.

Rob and Tom were very courteous, helpful and prompt during the whole process. Installers were very good, especially the hard vinyl installer. He was way over expectations. Overall, we are pleased with the whole job. Love the floors, have 1 more room to go.

I went to Exploring Flooring based on a recommendation from friends. I was not disappointed, from the moment I walked in the door I felt welcomed and was provided exceptional service. Tom helped make recommendations that were within my budget and my floors are phenomenal. Anytime I had a question or concern during the process, Tom and Rob and anyone on site were patient and attentive to my needs. I feel they went above and beyond in many cases as well. The next time I need new flooring I won't hesitate to use E.F. -they're fantastic!

The crew that finished the floors were prompt everyday, courtious and you can tell they knew what they were doing. They left garbage here, Im sure by accident but when I called Rob, it was picked up immediately! It was a very smooth and easy process from start to finish!

I had a great experience with Exploring Flooring. I read reviews on Yelp and decided I would give them a try. From the first step in learning about a new vinyl product called COREtec (Robert), to the expertise when the measurements were being taken (Tom), to the final step with installation (thanks Miguel), I am extremely pleased with the process and the results. I heartily recommend this company, and I plan to use them again when I get carpeting.
