"This is one of the best organizations I involved with . I had a fantastic time with the seniors . If you have spare time and you want to make it memorable, then try joining us...Let's do charity work while having fun at Elder helpers.

"Elder Helpers makes volunteering super easy! All you need to get started is an internet connection. They staff volunteers for elders near your community. One click of the mouse, you can pick and choose the level of your commitment based on your preferences and time availability.

"Elder helpers makes volunteering easy. You can pick and choose what you want to volunteer at and when. Each month there are loads of different activities, so definitely an option for everyone. I also highly recommend it as a way to meet new people if new in the city. Well organized, no pressure and feels good to be doing some good out there.

"Great place to volunteer. You can work with any schedule. It's a wonderful way to meet new people and give back. I love helping in food preparation. This is such a wonderful organization...
All I can say, it's an amazing organization with incredible facilities, good staff. I've been volunteering here for almost 10 months and I wouldn't trade the time I've spent there or the people I've met for anything. Keep up the good work! Hope more volunteers to sign up.

The Elders Helpers we visit are always more than appreciative to have the company, and I always take something away from the experience (I don't mean that literally). They made the whole process very fast and smooth (we were in and out of the pickup location in 5 minutes). This was my second Thanksgiving volunteering with Elder Helpers . They offer programs/events all year round - so if you're looking to do something about that unselfish itch, this is a great way to help.

In most tutoring programs , I develop a relationship with the senior , I also uses for tutoring seniors (one-on-one, in-home tutoring, with a minimum 6-month commitment) . We have strong bonds and hopefully our friendship will lasting . It's a little terrifying to begin with, despite their trainings, because you're basically on your own and may have very little experience. If you're the kind of person who learns best by doing, though, this is an ideal situation to develop learner specific teaching skills. Pretty much my favorite place to have volunteered at !
