We were ready to list our house in Canton, MA. We're downsizing, the last child went off to college, and we were going to be listing the home for a little over $900,000. And I started adding up the numbers, and went, "Oh, my God. That's $45,000 going into a broker's pocket!" And honestly, it wasn't until I looked at the number that I said, "OK, I'm going to try this on my own."
We had two offers on our home within the first 14 days after listing it. And I was able to pass on some of that savings to the new buyers of the home, and it was a good experience for them. We're still friends. It was a great experience for them and it was a great experience for us. And they recognized the value of what they were getting because I wasn't charging an additional $45,000 to cover my broker fees.
From the time we listed to the time we had a signed purchase and sale, it was 18 days. I am happy!

I was either going to use ISoldMyHouse.com or FSBO.com. It was confusing as to what I was paying for with FSBO, whereas with ISoldMyHouse it was a lot easier to see exactly what I was buying and what my money was giving me.
The showings came very quickly. We closed mid-February. We put a lot of work into it before we left, so that the place showed extremely well. I would put in a good word for my rep Cindy at ISoldMyHouse, who was extremely helpful. She answered all my questions, and she got back to me as soon as she could.
